Inventory of homes for sale in April, 2012 was 4.7 months. This is down from a peak of 19.2 months in January, 2009. Inventory has consistently been 7 months or below for the last 12 months in a row. This is the lowest inventory has been since June, 2007. Generally speaking, when we are below 6 months inventory it is considered a seller’s market.
Closed sales are increasing! Closed sales have increased from April of last year by 13.1%.
